The Dobrota cottage settlement is located in the middle of a pine forest in the village of Staré Splavy , approximately 10 minutes walk from the shore of Lake Máchov. The surroundings of Lake Máchov are known for their abundance of mushrooms, and lovers of historical monuments can visit, for example, Bezděz, Starý Bernštejn, Ralsko or Houska Castle. The Čtyřlístek Museum has recently opened in Doksy.

The Dobrota cottage settlement area offers its guests, in addition to accommodation, all-day dining and refreshments. For pleasant sitting, it offers a common room with a fully equipped bar, an indoor fireplace, TV - SAT, DVD, WIFI internet, billiards, table football, indoor table tennis (capacity up to 100 people), outdoor table tennis, children's sandpit, fireplace, possibility of renting a grill and spit - or. ensuring excellent pork delicacies (suckling pig, legs).
